Pablo Picasso
Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) was a Spanish painter and sculptor considered one of the greatest artists of the twentieth century.
Of Spanish origin, Pablo Picasso spent most of his career in France, where he settled in 1904. Very inventive, it addresses several different styles during his life. His work is marked by the blue period (the Blue Room, 1901), the Rose Period (the Acrobats, 1905) and the invention of Cubism that illustrates paintings and collages (Still Life with Chair Caning, 1912). Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (1907), which marked the beginning of modern art, and Guernica (1937), which refers to the Spanish Civil War, are among his most famous paintings.
During his life, Pablo Picasso also makes sculptures and sets for ballets. The figure of the bull is reflected in many of his works (the character of the Minotaur, bullfighting scenes, etc.). His love life influence changes in its style and its various companions, and her children are represented in many of his paintings.
